Welcome to the Dawg house!
As you may have already read here, one of my new favorite toys is Google Earth, which allows users to zoom in on our planet and look at our cities, states and countries as seen from satellites. I've chosen to bedeck this week's Carnival with shots of a few places of interest in our fair state, along with some sites inspired by Carnival bloggers. Enjoy! In order to truly pay homage to our mascot and figurehead, Tillie, we visit his home -- before it was demolished -- Palace Amusements.
